Rumble

Rumble

Judo is a competitive sport, and entering tournaments is not for everyone, however they can be a new experience and fun for the players and families. This is why each year Destination Judo holds our very own Judo Festival that we call, RUMBLES!

The purpose of a Rumble is simple, to give the children a sense of what it is like to compete in a tournament like event. Once you have had a read, have a quick look at our video at the end which was filmed and edited by our very own DJ coach, Callum!

On the day, players are put through a light warm-up by one of our coaches before being put into groups. Each group consists of between 4-5 players.

Rumble

One by one, players will come out and fight one of the other players in their group. One match will last no more than 2 minutes but could end sooner if one of the players wins the match. Every mat and contest is refereed by a Destination Judo coach.

Rumble Awards

All our Rumble events have proven successful and are popular with the children and families, which is why it is highly recommended that when we come to hold a Rumble and the children receive the details, that parents book a space for their child ASAP as spaces are limited.
