Hi, I’m Callum.

I’m not really one to talk too much about my professional history and I know that you don’t really want to know about the medals or titles that I have won but that you are looking for a sign that I am the right coach to help your child.

So lets talk more about your child and why Judo is the right sport for them.

Maybe your child is currently lacking in confidence, that’s ok we all go through that at times. I can certainly help to encourage and improve your child’s self-confidence. This could be as simple as little wins in games, progression through the belt system or teaching your child how to throw their best friend over.

Discipline is maybe another reason that you might have for getting your child involved in a sport. Through Judo your child will learn, understand and demonstrate a respect for themselves and others.  The first thing a child will learn at Judo is what the word actually means, it means ‘the gentle way’. The principles of “the gentle way” can easily transfer from the Judo mat into every aspect of your child’s life.

The classes that your child will attend are designed to promote intellectual stimulation along with physical development. During sessions I like to ensure that children keep an active mind, stay focused and use problem solving to work out how to best execute a Judo technique.

So before I go here is a little task for you. Think of one thing you would like embedded into your child to help them become better adults?

I bet Judo has the answer.
