Due to unforeseen circumstances the Dunfermline Squad class on Saturday 5th May 2018 is cancelled

Please note that it is ONLY the squad class from 11.15am to 12.15pm which is cancelled - all other classes are running as normal on this day in Dunfermline.

The latest in our series of Charity Challenges sees 3 Destination Judo coaches and 2 judo dads challenge themselves by trekking and camping out for a week in the Arctic circle.

In the past 3-4 years Destination Judo children, families and coaches have raised well in excess of £40,000 for charity. This new challenge is hot on the heels of climbing Kilimanjaro and cycling through the rainforests of Peru – it’s just MUCH MUCH COLDER!!

We are pleased to announce that Destination Judo is sponsoring MILLIE STOBIE PLATTS.

Millie will be representing GB at the World Transplant Games in Malaga this Summer, where she will be competing in volleyball, table tennis and athletics (100 metres, 200 metres and long jump).

Millie has already won over 40 medals in the British Transplant Games where she represents Birmingham Childrens' Hospital.

Fife Rumble & Masterclass -

What a great day! Judo players and families coming together to take part and enjoy in another Rumble and Masterclass Session at Cowdenbeath Leisure Centre.

The morning session saw our younger players take to the mat, attempting to put into practice all that they have been learning from their coaches, and most notably impressing all parents who came to show their support.

As many of you know Destination Judo has helped raise money for two great causes - Sarah's Promise and the Nicola Murray Foundation. You can read more about these individual causes on our charity pages.

Now we would like to offer your children the chance to become more involved - DJ coaches will be handing out to all children forms and information sheets about taking part in a sponsored throw event which will take place within their normal class.

Children will see how many times they can perform a Judo throw in 60 seconds (children under 8) and 90 seconds (over 8). Hopefully the children will

As you know, Destination Judo is always looking at ways to help different people in need - like our Peru Challenge which you can read about in our News and Charity News.

But now, Destination Judo is also wishing to help a Judo club in Bosnia simply by donating old Judo suits. Below is a letter sent from the chairman of ACORN AID to our very own Marc Preston, please take a moment to read and if you have any old complete Judo suits (jacket and trousers) that you wish to donate, please hand them to your child's coach.

As many people know, for the past 3 years Destination Judo has supported 2 very good causes - Sarah's Promise, and The Nicola Murray Foundation.

Sarah's Promise was set up in memory of Sarah Hardie who sadly died aged 9. Her parents decided that they would in honor of their daughter to help as many disadvantaged children in the world as possible - including building an orphanage in Tanzania, which was done with the help of the children and parents of Destination Judo.

The Nicola Murray Foundation was formed back in October 2010 to fund research projects which will lead to better detection,
